yikes!!

how do you store your disks?

do you use a pc in conjuction with the mpc?

do you use the disks between your pc and mpc?

did you originally format the disk with pc or mpc?

i know this isnt a time that you want to hear this but, this is like anything else computer related. you must back yo shht up on more than one disk.

sometimes disks get corrupted. cant explain it but its a sad reality.

As a last resaort you could send it to iomega. Never done it myself, but apparently... "apparently" they usually pretty successful in recovering the data. If they can't fix it they'll send you a new disk.

"As a last resaort you could send it to iomega."

Iomega will take one look at the MPC format and say, "What is that?".

Unless a company is familiar with the format, they cannot recover it.
