16 levels problem

So i loaded up my APS file jazz.aps and my mid file jazz.mid and for some weird reason when i try to use 16 levels on a sample i had on a pad that was loaded up with the APS file, it wont let me change the pas number for the "tuning" 16 levels. It is stuck on 4....usually i wanna do the "original pad" at 9 and it wont let me unless i load up the sample by itself without the APS file......is this normal? jus noticed it today

There was z thread a while back about this same thing and I forgot who came up with the answer but it had something to do with holding the shift button at the same time and then you can scroll the number and change it. I can't remember exactly though, lemme go look at my xl and see if I can remember.
