Ok so I got my CF Card reader in my MPC, and wana buy my first CF Memory Card...

oh oh ...CF Memory cards come as 20x, 60x and 130x - now its obvious this refers to the speed of data transfer, but would getting a 130x over a 20x CF card really make a difference ?

Basically will my samples load faster ? Or does the MPC have a speed threshold, like after 60x I will not notice any diffence in sample loading times.

Holla back ! ( Somebodies got to know this ! )

Sevensign9, well you showed some interest didn't you?

1. No you do not have to have upgrade your RAM!, just means that you cant load up to many big samples, though u can save loads.

Mantis mate....

2. The way these machines are made it is hard to determine how the speed is negociated. I know that some CF cards have a built in controller that calculates the best transfer speed between the devices. But there is no way to really know except to test out the different types of cards and see if there is any difference.
