I have Digi 002 Rack with 6.7 Software using xp sp2. When launching pro-tools it gets stuck on "creating DAE objects" and won't let me do anything else.I have to manual shut down the system and try again. After about five trys it will get past that part and open up. I have no idea what this means or how to fix this. I thought it was maybe the fire wire connection to the rack. But it is fine. Any one run in to this problem before?

One more problem, I'm syncing my mpc to the pro-tools via midi. When I first purchased the software (3 days ago) it would work fine. For example: under "setup" I go to studio preferences and try to turn on the mmc. Under input and output port it wont let me switch to the mpc, Even though I have created a instrument for it. Does this make any sense? If not I can explain in further detail.

Thanks in advance :(

- Disable device drivers
- Disable System Startup Items and Services
- Trash DAE and Pro Tools preference files
- Trash the Digidesign Databases folders for all hard drives
- Uninstall and reinstall Pro Tools
- Update the PACE drivers to the latest version
- Remove any unnecessary USB/FW devices or any other extraneous hardware and then restart the CPU
- SiSoftware's Sandra Lite application can be used to post your full system profile.

ProTools should be compatible with sp2
