Lank, when you not really into making hiphop beat, i understand your
opinion. Most beats on your soundclick i did not like, because i just didnt like the sound or mixing style you used.

lank-- most of what you hear on this forum is branches of hip hop music.

hip hop music has many different styles and sounds. that is what give us our own flavor. it shouldnt sound the same and it shouldnt always flow perfectly.

look at it as abstract art. its different.

i dont like my beats to always line up right. there has to be a wrench thrown in somewhere. but thats what i like.

i wont knock your music cuz im sure people who are into that type of music will find it hot. but you have to look at this from an objective an openminded view point.

i agree that more should be put into constructin a beat. but that advice is more for people who really dont know what their doing.

here people know what their doing and do things with their sound on purpose to make it standout.

now lets get back to the votes.

lank you saw that single track on my page, and since there was only one beat on there, and it was sloppy, you were quick to judge that it had to be my first beat or that im new to this sh1t. so you decided off one track that i was an amatuer who didnt know how to lay a beat. check www.soundclick.com/jdumont and you can hear some other tracks ive done. i have alot of beats under my belt and alot of time spent in front of samplers getting a beat to sound a certain way. once in awhile i like that sloppy style, sometimes its breaks, sometimes its more straightforward, whatever, i flip different styles to sound exactly how i want them to. theres no jedi mind tricks behind that. when i make a sloppy beat like that is not a lack of talent, its a preference. and the small amount of beats i do upload do not even begin to scratch the surface of the stash that i have behind me. so to come to those types of conclusions off one beat is having an itchy trigger finger. its all good though, even though your posts were mad condescending, i aint mad about it

Im laughin now while i think about it. Every time i find myself feeling sad or upset about something im gonna listen to Lanks soundclick page and laugh. at first when i heard it i thought it was a joke, but as I kept on listening i find that he's serioous. But i will compliment u on your opinions Lank. I feel the same way. to me both beats sounded sloppy. Im not sayin u guys are wak ( only Lank is wak ) but neither track made me bop my head even once. knoxx that was funny as hell. Nah binger O I love sample based beats. Kanye is one of my favorite producers. But I just dont like the beats yall posted. they were corny in my opinion. In ya heart u know u didnt put no effort into that track.
