how easy is it to learn mpc2000xl / 1000

can anyone tell me this? how long did it take for you to learn it?
please help me

Hi - it really depends on your current experiences. If you have a reasonable background in music technology, you will be fine.

I have the 1k and would categorise it as 'easy' because on the whole:

1) it is a fairly basic machine so not too much to worry about
2) the interface is generally very well designed

I had never touched a beatmachine before and it took me about 3 months to learn just about everything.

It took me about a week and a half to master my 1K...

U can learn it in like a weeks but it takes a while to master, especially if u dont know any vets.

Well they have the eBook on banging beats out on a 2kxl. So it shouldn't take too long!

If you practice enough and read the manual it doesn't take that long.Depends on how serious you are about learning also.
The ebook has nothing to do with that.

i dont even have mine yet couple more months but im starting my "training" now, forums, downloaded the manual and reading it and high lightin important tips, stole some zip disks from work, got a zip drive from a friend, all i need is the mpc i cant wait til i get mine.
