Just wonering if you guys could recomend a good sound module to get to hook up to my newly purchased 4k, I have a good array of drum kits but want more sounds, any suggestions? Thanks.

Okay the the EMU Mp' Phatt is the module I'm going to cop, I'm gonna score a nice deal from ebay. My next question is how do i hook it up for use to my 4k? Thanks.

I would not get the mo phatt, its not a good bread and butter module. If you are low on cash, get the roland JV series. I got a 1080 with the keys of the 60's and 70's card for like cheap a while back. The exp cards are expensive now. But you have a 4k like me you just need to get some sample CD's which will give you more sounds than you would need. I use a 4k with about 12 sample CD's. I got 1 for bass, keys, strings, and horns, and synths. You really don;t need to much more

Yeah thats why I use my cheap 1080 then when if the song is a go, I pull one of the 24bit programs of the HD to get the better sound. I basiclly use the 1080 as a stracth for midi insturments, then the high quality samples come from the MP
