It's taken forever but I finally tracked down the problem with my glithcy noises during tuning. Alot of trial and error but it's all good now. First thing I did was take out the memory expansion (good advice from elmacaco) but it still did'nt work. After reading about similar problems from other samplers on the web I was sure it was the onboard ram. So I popped out all the simms and traded them with my memory expansion still no go. Tried adjusting my DACs (w/o osc), no success. At this point I thought it's probably the voice chips but since I had no replacements I thought it was worth a shot just to pop em out and reseat them. That was it!!!!!!! Hopefully the issue won't start up again but at least I know what ICs to order when it does happen. Anyway, if your 60s actin up soundin like a circut bent speak and spell chek the voice chips first.

Dam this is dope! :D

No, it didn't sound any different to me. I was kind of hesitant to mess with them at first because I don't know what they do I just thought it might relate to my issue so I tried it. I thought it would be alot more difficult. The screws you turn to make adjustments don't even move a full rotation they only go from like 11 oclock to 7. I just wrote down where they were originally and made quarter turns. I'm definately suprised I didnt hear any difference and I made sure to listen to the appropriate corrisponding outputs while adjusting. Mysterious...

are you sure you weren't clipping your signal - you know when you clip on the 60 you hear mad distortion when tuning samples......i had to learn to tame the signal (you can peak it out but not too excessively).

I sample on low and it didn't stop on 16 levels either... If I lightly tapped a pad it would distort all crazy so I had to use full level all the time and when I imported 3k files it would turn to shit same with compression. Good lookin out though I heard about that before.
