man i did program htouse drums. rearranged the kicks and the hats. i love it when cats try to downplay my **** casue they think im looping

it just sounded like a loop to me cause it had no drop and the way the open hat cuts off at the end of the 4th bar like a loop would.. usually when i chop breaks i leave some space after the hits so it wont just cut off... unless u chopped and made one chop cut the other off but i dont know why you would do that to the end of an open hat... just my 2 cents no need to get all uppy about it bing..

if you would have added a drop then i might have had a better picture nah mean... then i woulda gave my vote to u but there wasnt no way for me to know so i had to assume it was just a looped break... thats just the way it goes.. get some experience points and move on it aint that serious... next time you will be more prepared thats the way i look at it...

there's only one way to do music. period.

..................your way!

quantization does something amazing to the listener. unquantization (if that's the proper word) does just the same thing also. i'm a former classically trained pianist. know time signatures, A440, measure:beat:clocks, PPQ's, all the technical jargon and use to be caught up in perfect timing (yeah there is a proper time for it, but only if i choose to go there). one day i surrendered to this type of programming method if you choose to call it that. (actually, i find it no different than hitting record on your multitracker and going for it on the drum set [real drums]) and it expanded my game and skills. my musical life was never the same. my advice is to embrace everything. it will make you better. always.

i'm not mad at ya. just tryin to expand you.

very true morph but if your gonna free hand ur drums and not use quantize, take ur time and master the craft otherwise ur drums will sound very amateurish-- jazzy or whatever style u wanna call it sloppy drums are sloppy drums... its not about being close minded...
