Roland Fantom X8 vs Yamaha Motif ES8

Motif ES has good natural instruments and the synths are o.K. The sequencer is decent.The sampler has some good features but it's weired to operte. Th Fantom has a mixture of great natural instruments and even better synths. The sequencer is easy!!!!!!The sampler is the best I've used on any keyboard. Not to mention audio tracks. It has so many features Iwould be here all day to type.

Overall the Fantom is the better workstation. In my opinion.

pretty much sums it up, motif has better sounds out the box but fantom has more expandbiltitiy and a dope sampler

IMO u will be better off with the racks instead of the keyboards

you could prolly get both racks for less than or close to what you would pay for the 88 key versions of either one......


motif es rack -$1099
fantom xr rack-$1395

equals 2494


vs

motif es 88key -$2896
fantom x8 88key-$2999



buy a 88 key controller with the extra change

dang, i wish i could afford that, after doing the actual calculations this is a deal if your were planning on coppin the 88 key versions of either brand, plus some places may be cheaper, this is from musicians friend
