Cannot get my scsi hard drive to read.....help!! MPC2000

People........

I have an old school scsi HD, that up until last night was working fine...after trying to boot it up on the load screen, and going to its scsi id it just says "wait......." and freezes up...also does the same with my zip drive as well, which also was working fine.
Had a search throught the forum but couldnt find anything that specifically related to this problem....so any suggestions would be appreciated!!!

It sounds like you have blown a SCSI fuse. Its not really a fuse, its sort of a fusible link. If you connect or disconnect the SCSI hard drive while the power is on (on the MPC) it will cause this to happen. You'll need to take this unit to a service center for repair.
