You might be right, these are more like frenemies than friends. These people are far to competetive and dont give you the respect you deserve, if you can do something better than them they hate on you. or if you have an mpc, and they dont, they hate on you.

i think most people who own a mpc thinks they are in the game just because they own one (which is not true, you need skills).

i do not care what you have (software/hardware/live instruments) your demo will tell the true story of your skills.

skills are the most important element of making beats not the mpc/hardware or software. skills.

p.s. i own a mpc2000 classic but i prefer to use software with a mpd16.
