word so you just unmute the aux to release the delay on that one part. (you ride the faders live on mixdown?) game tight.

actually no- i program the delay in the machine.....that's how you do it.....you literally copy the part you want to delay and program it as necessary.....also use 16 levels and or adjust velocity accordingly.

doc u did your thing on that second beat .... cats have to learn to change with the times.. drum your shit would of been hot in the 90s but i dont think cats is going to buy that today... its good though.. but for the backpack crowd as they call them in ny....i guess everyone has a different goal there trying to reach some want to get paid and some want to try and the past golden hiphop era.....good luck to everyone though....

Funny cus like EL and many others have already specified - there ain't nothing new going on in commercial hiphop.....the 808 drums come out and people act like the music is cutting edge. I think you fail to realize sir that I extract from my influences....I also absorb the good shit and let the weak shit die cus it's not gonna be around much longer....so why am I gonna sound like everybody else....this is my sound and who I am. If you think I'm trying to sound like 1990 then that's your feeling as you're entitled....I respect what you're saying but you know all those comments are seriously tired and palaverous. It's like i'm living in a world of hiphopocrasy. Please by all means explain to me who you feel is setting precidence and changing the face of hiphop forever? Please explaing to us who that is cus i'd sure like to know and don't leave out any details. I guarantee you every single producer you mention you can bet that there is someone that came before them that did the same thing or had the idea far in advance. As they say, "no man is his own island we are all just a paninsula." So if my sound is so dated what ways do you think I can change or become better. Cus I hear many comments like this that don't have any justification behind them.

And what's with the whole backpack bullsh!t mentality....when was it bad to rock a school bag? I'm still in college anyhow. Man if BlackMoon is considered wack then i'm definitely disconnecting the cables.

Sorry I forgot to mention that in my previous post.....but yeah I appreciate the fact that you find some quality and substance in my music regardless of its age.

drum i didnt mean to get u alll turn on... slow down... slllowww down... i use to be like that back in the day also.. i grew up on the kool g rap... juice crews.... pe's.... i use to love hiphop... i mean i thought that shit would last forever....then when rza and havoc ..primo them cats i thought would be doing it forever...but they didnt change with the times.... then the puffys and neptunes happened to hiphop.....im 33 years old ive been here from the start... ive been through every era of hiphop.. im not some 18 year old cat that just started to listen to hiphop when biggie dropped juicy... (no disrespect young dudes) i respect everyone styles of music i dont really care what cats think is hot....all i was saying is your music sounds dated... and how could you be upset with that if its a early 90's style???? no disrespect dude do you rep your style.....and yes in ny buckshot is considered backpack hiphop....he is doing what he wants to do...but he sure aint going to eat doing that type of music..... but whateva.. gooodd luck to alll...
