Try TRACKTION 2 from Makie..

Its a great piece of software, easy to use, I left Cubase SX because of it....its got all the mad features you would wan't and very inexpensive.

nb: Don't use Craked music software, you will be pulling your hair out becuase of dropped midi notes, crashes, strange behaviour. Then when you download the Demo and everything is fine you realise you have just wasted your time!!!

I would argue otherwise. I'm using Steinberg.Cubase.SX.v2.2.0.33-H2O and its all fine and dandy here mate!! If you need SYNC help go to MPC Environments Forum there is a guide on how to set it up.

I'm using h20 sx 3, and it works mighty fine for me. Since we're not allowed to advocate cracked software here, i won't ....Buy the real deal if you can.
But i dare say that those "hacker kids that live in a basement" do a better job at programming than Steinberg.

To get back on topic:
Try searching for my name and "SX". I've posted a small tutorial recently with some pics.

i had the same problem. i watched the class video and it didnt work for me. i thought class was in the US but i guess he is not. if you are in america, the frame rate needs to be 30 on the mpc and US cracked versions are auto set on 30 fps. i suggest you check the cubase frame rate in the project properties and see what it is. i think in london it should be at 25. if your cubase is showing 30, drop it to 25 and put your mpc on 25 and it will work. holla at me!!

I don't know what I overlooked but when I did this with a lower end sequencer software it was virtually seemless now I'm getting some straight bullsh*t!!! Here's the setup I have a Triton Pro, MPC 2000xl, computer w Cubase Le and Midiman 2x2. The Triton after some trial and error has been mapped correctly from Midi A and it works fine. The godd*mn MPC though...oh dis f*cka is straight spassin' out and if you can't tell so am I.:? When I hit the drumpad it gets stuck on this really quirky sound and I have to start over just to proceed wit the same d*mn issue. I'm not certain as to whether there are some parameters that need to be set or where they need to be set at but could someone let me know. Thanks in advance.
