Yeah did you know that Jay Dee used to be in a group with PHAT KAT called 1st DOWN? I got a few tracks from them....I can post them for everybody if you're interested.....I'll have to run out to the car and grab the cd though....hahaha

ive been djing for 5 years and just started producing(making beats) last april.
im trying to get an MPC-60 or an ASR right now but im kinda low on cash. im only 15 so i have to scrape money together to buy new gear, but i alway end up spending that sh*t on vinyl.

oh yeah btw what equipment does Jay Dilla use now? lol
i forgot i had no clue what he used i just know he has nice ass drums.

The ASR is the way to go!! I learned on the Eps 16+ first. Get the ASR 10 and get a MPC 60 later.

yeah the ASR kinda appeals to me more and im sick & tired of using FL.

I got all the aformentioned for sale. Including a EPS16+. $350.00 excellent shape w/ memory expander.

Dilla currently uses an MPC 3000, S950/ASR. He also has quite a few synths and current sound modules (Roland XV etc).

Dilla came up on the SP-1200 and MPC 60. Labcab was a culmanation of all the legendary samplers merged, 60, 1200, 950, 10. Do the math on that yo.
