MIXER PROBLEMS

I have a behringer 1002 mixer and kenwood receiver going out to some house speakers. ok the things is that im recording into sonar and i import my beats that i have made on my mpc and triton into sonar and then record the vocals over the beats but anyway the problem is that when i have the beat on one track and then i try to record the vocals on another track it has the beat recording again because what i do is bring the audio out of the computer into the mixer and then i have the condenser mic going into the mic input into the computer all i want to do is not have the beat recording twice and still be able to hear my voice in the headphones as im recording

try using head phones when you record vocals. That way your mic doesn't pick up the beat coming through the speakers.

.. use two different type of inputs to the mixer.. havent the behringer got two-treck tape in? use that one to connect the computer to the mixer.. then you won't get the beat on the main-mixer output.. And you will still hear the beat AND the rap..

YO THANKS FOR THE REPLY BUT COULD YOU EXPLAIN TO ME IN A LITTLE MORE DETAIL WITH THE TAPE IN DO I HAVE TO GO TO LIKE RADIO SHACK AND GET A CERTAIN ADAPTER TO HOOK IT UP TO THE COMPUTER AND IF SO AM I STILL GOING TO BE ABLE TO HEAR THE BEAT AND MY VOCALS COMING OUT OF THE HEADPHONES APPRECIATE IT VERY MUCH

make sure windows internal microphone is on mute
