I am trying to dump my song into the Korg D16xd using the 8 outputs but it is not working at all....im doing it in this order

Triton Midi--------> Mpc 2000Xl...then Mpc 8 outputs -----------> Korg D16xd... but I am not gettin any sound out of the 8 outputs which I have in the mixer.. I am trying to do it this way so that when the whole song is being dumped I am actually receiving them on the mixer as "tracks" not a full song on each channel... This way I can go back and listen to each part and add effects and EQ..... Can someone please guide me through setting up the 8 outputs to be assigned to each Track so I can send it to my mixer.......

umm it sounds like you are sending midi data from the MPC seqencer to make the triton play right? well the sound from the triton comes out of the triton.

but, go into mixer mode in the mpc and set the outputs to the correct pads, by highlighting the top of the view (above the pan dial) and change that to the out puts 1-8 that you want, then set the level going out, and then record. You cannot record info from the triton and have it come out of the mpc. If you want to record off of the triton sounds, set up the triton connected to the recorder.
