Constantly when im working on my mpc 2000 classic i have to repower my ssci jaz drive ( 1 gb) to save or load.. Its like its goes in some kinda sleep mode if its idle for a while and the only way to get it woke is to repower it which im sure is not good..Anyone had this happen and knows a fix.. Thanks

Yeah, it goes into sleep mode, start like you are going to load something from it and it wll wake up.

Thanks Boss, but that never works..It gives a somewhat cant find scci message, basically it doesnt recognize it. The only way it works is if i reboot the scci

The solution I've found is to nah let my zip in the driver... once i've loaded/saved some i press it out. So tht the drive ain't sleep.
If i forget to press out (ya know :D !!!) i just pull it off before load/save n den put in... and fine!!

Yo! Lampdog i've read the message, will PM ya later!
