Effects (EB16-SAMPLERVERB) on external gear???

Can the EB16 / SAMPLEVERB be used to effect other MIDI gear if using the MPC as master?

on the s3000xl (and maybe others, i dont know) you can use it as a dedicated fx processor, processing incoming audio in real time. but it has nothing to do with midi, it's all audio.

2kxl's dont do that tho

That is one of the main things I like about my ASR10, the active line in.
I could use the ASR10 as an effects processor in real time, other gears audio outputs go right into the line in on ASR10 and out the ASR10 main outs along w/ the ASR10's OWN output.

Triton Extreme can do this also, I hated the Triton Classic because it couldn't do that. It was exactly the same as the 2kxl in this area, it wouldn't do it real time with the line ins.

I also had an ASR X Pro before my 2kxl, it could do it as well.

Triton Classic = no.
Triton Extreme = yes.
ASR10 = yes.
ASR X Pro = yes.
2kxl = no.

Any other gear that someone can confirm has this active line in effects processor type thing so "anode" will know of more options?

maybe i should have got the asr-x...but i like to be able to make fast beats aswell as slow so dont know how well the Sequencer would react to that...

Best Answer: Need FX processing then use a good sampler (ASP, S-series) or dedicated FX, NOT a Sequencer (MPC).

I think the Triton Studio can but I am not sure!!!!

just sample the sounds from the midi gear to ur mp, then use the effects on the sounds
