Remixing

Where can I get a good tutorial on remixing?

from listening to music thats ya tuturial right their. Their aint no specific way to "remix" its all in how u feel. do what ever u want thiers no rules to music. When i remix i jus use the same sounds or sample and flip it differently. personally i dont like remixes

I understand that part, but I don't understand how you match the acapella. It always seems to fall out of place after a few bars.

For me, it's just trial and error. First, I'll do a quick search online for a particular song's bpm. If I do find it, it's usually off a bit, but close enough for me to make the minor changes on the mp.

If I'm going cold, I just put on the orig. instrumental of the track I want to remix and try and match it with a basic kick/snare pattern on the mpc and adjust as needed. I used to try the 'tap tempo' button to start me off, but I've only had mixed results with that. Once you're close, you've got to make sure it's in sync for a good while, otherwise they trail off, like you mentioned.
