ok, ive searched this particualr question and can't find an answer. I got copyright forms and a bunch of beats...Some i have used samples some i have not. This is my question, If you gotta get your music copy written before you can send it to labels and the labels will usually clear a sample for you (at a price)...then how do you copywrite something with a sample on it? Their is no reason to clear a sample for demo purpose...but you can't demo a track to labels without the copywrite...im lost on this, any suggestions...

thanks

The logical option would be either to not sample or sample something that is not vital to a particular song. For example, I have sampled chord progressions from the beginning songs then, chopped the chords into individual samples and played them in a different order. There would be no reason have to clear them that way.
