... well, you r free to do anythin ... but ... imo the answer is no!
triplets are basically just 3 notes placed in the value of 2 of em. for example: 3 - 1/8 triplet notes take up the same time as 2 - 1/8 notes, 3 - 1/4 triplet notes as 2 - 1/4 notes, and so on .... sorry - can't phrase it any better but hope it makes sense ...
