records and static...remedies?

yall got any tips or info on how to get rid of that static ish?

n i'm talkin HOME remedies....

i'm sayin NOT even on samplin records, i'm talkin jus the actual static feeL on the record you know like whne you rub a balloon on ya head do that stick to the wall thang..that same thing i feel right off the record...how does one get rid of that.....

thats what i needed help wit...my bad

p.s. as ridiculous as it sounds i have yet to sample anything... i've had my mpc for about 3 months now, sitting brand spankin NEW in the box still... i'm gettin ready to finally unleash.....aka preperation

i did read them TRUST... n d*m good posts i might add.. got some pretty dope info off em....

but yeah my problem is not all the static n all that associated wit samplin as i sed i ain't there yet...

all i'm doing is play my records on an ol turntable which i got connected to pioneer reciever..

its like whne i try to put the record on to play i get this crzy feedback from the speakers crazy booms pops n crackles no matter how gently i put it on... n like i sed i feel the static coming off the record..

but i digres all thats been sed right?

so your sayin all i need is that compressed air crap? that'll get rid of the static electricity on my records?
