1..Sometimes a mag will Do an Issue on A Focused topic.........and IT Will Be SICK!!!!!!!!....If u Need the TIPS,TRICKS or INFO...................


2..I'd Guess that IF U DO Alot of Live Instrumentation a MAG Like SCRATCH or REMIX will NOT DO IT For YOU.....................

It Really IS A NEED Type of Thing IMHO...........................

its just bloody adverts and then product reviews tied closely to those adverts- used to like itthen it got completely pc centric and i realised i thought more about gear than music when reading it-

seriously there is only one music mag (probably too full on for the typical beat maker) and that is Sound on Sound...

the rest pale in comparison

I subscribe to SOS International that comes without the adverts which cooled down my g.a.s problems and yes the mags with the back issues are fanstatic.

On the real, I come to realize that the more I learned and understand about music tech terminology, gained experience with the gear, and ingest related reading material the more I could absorb from the producers articles in different mags.


I mean a med student in his or her`s first yr in med school isn`t going to really understand what a resident surgeon and a top one at that is saying unless he or she grew up in a house full of doctors. I`m striving too; but, I not there yet It takes time.


It`s starting to become clearer now some of the gems that were dropped in some of the articles. A different Point of view that is all.

I get remix, and scratch. Remix is alright, but Scratch is the shizz.

REUP it has all the dope real heads not "popstars" im talkin DJ krush, mr.scruff, quaimoto, mf doom etc etc etc.... and they talk about there gear and production techniques
