Akai's customer service called me an hour ago and relayed a message from the tech dept. stating that my MPC is unrepairable and that they would offer me a "B" Stock unit. I told then that I will not accept a "B" Stock unit when my machine was in perfectly new cosmetic condition with very minmal usage and that I expect Akai to send me a brand new unit. So she told me that I can leave a message with her supervisor who was not in today. I asked her if there was anyone else that I could speak to, and she said that there's nobody else available. I left Rob, the supervisor the message and I hope to hear something better than the canned response I got today. If not, the $hits gonna hit the fan! Where's the "professional" in Akai Professional??? Who the hell knows... but I'll be tellin' it like it is once I find out.
