FL is good for beginers but when you are ready to make pro quality shit!! MPC is the best way to go.

Buy what you are most comfortable with. One is not more Pro than the other. The MPC will just cost you more. I do much better work on Acid 3 than with my MPC 60 and Emax. I have been working with Acid for 3 yrs though. On the other hand, when I use all 3....its heaven.

You can do some super dope stuff on FL. With time and experience....it can sound as "Pro" as you need it to. Will it sound like a MPC? NO! Will a MPC sound like FL? NO! FL is only 100 bux. Get both. Whats another 100 bux, when you are spending a grand. It will give you more range and flexibility.

Software and Hardware have their pros and cons. I like the stability of my MPC and I love the sound of my Emax. I love the speed I have on the computer and the unliimited sample time...and the flexibilty. I find hardware more cumbersome to use... Backlit LCD screens cant compare to a 19 inch flat screen dual monitor setup. My computer is pretty stable...I dont trust it like I do my MPC.... Staring at a computer screen all the time can get very sickening. You will find that you produce differently with each setup. This can be to your advantage... My two pesos.
