S950 Filter and MFC Filter

Is Akai MFC Filter have the same function as S950 and more useful?
If I use MPC60 with MFC, can I get the same result like S950 filterr?
Anyone have experence?

What is your intent?


THe S-950 filter, allows you to "filter" samples that are already taken., but is not something that occurs in real time. The S-950 filter, does NOT have an External In just for processing external sources.

The MFC is a real time filter, so you can send Audio directly into it.


Now as if the filter tones sound the same, I'm not sure, I've never used a MFC, just a S-950

I don't know about the sound or whatever of both but I use a MFC with my 60.
