Did Akai ever make a black limited edition MPC60 MKII ?? I'd like to see a pict of it... cause there's a guy on ebay whos selling one right now. Have you ever seen one ?

no, i asked him, and he said its a real mpc60 limited edition, original. The guy bougth it like that. Weird ?!!

Yea, original when he purchased it from the cat I sold it to like 5 years ago, who actually got it painted. Word to P.E., "Don't belive the hype".

That MPC Paul Nice is selling as far as I can tell, and based off his credentials, is legitment.
As for the Black MPC. I promise you their was never a "LE" MPC 60. Elmacacco and such would have brought this to attention LONG ago. And many collectors I know would have been ransacking every source known to man looking for one.
I'm pretty sure (though I can't say until I see the pics) it's an MPC I sold a couple years ago for this one cat (who actually painted it), who turned around and sold it. This is probably the most recent buyer deciding to flip it, an hyping it up to make a sale. That's my assumption as this point.

Lo Pass is right, as far as I know there was never a black LE MPC 60 I'm sure there are plenty of custom painted ones though.

holy shit ! the guy just sent me the picture and I'm still laughing !!! what a joke ! hahaha its the worst painting job I've ever seen on a mpc60 of my life ! it sucks !! please someone should stop him for trying to sell that on ebay
