U should master the MPC before u go buy anything else then you'll learn what you want to buy next, a good set on monitors might be a good start.

Yeah, and a MIDI keyboard....preferably one with a built in module of some sort to kill 2 birds with one stone.

Even buy a crate full of whack records for cheap, never know where you can find a ill sample, snare, kick. I like to pick random three records and make a beat just from those three. sometime it turns out whack but sometimes its fresh to def.

Get a pair of monitors! f you can't afford monitors right now get a good pair of headphones to start with. Please don't ask what monitors to get. There are a couple of threads where people have posted what monitors they think are best. You hould search through those. :wink:

do this...challenge yourself. leave you samples to be 2 seconds or less so you can be more precise in your sampling which is much better than jacking the whole loop.

Yea the X station is pretty sick the synths Bass sounds are pretty tight IMO and they pretty cheap , i mean a controller with a buitl in KS synth thats battery operated as well

im a dj so i got a rane mixer,technics headphones and crayz moniters... i was thinking more along the lines of keyboard/midi controler....i got stacks of vinyl to sample and im always digging.........thankz boys for your input by the way........
