Need Help.

Aight I decided to dump my da-88 recorders because they are no use to me at this point. plus the amount of money in adats is something i never thought about.

i want to record with my computer. that way i can burn my shht right to my cd drive. with the setup i have now i dont have live cd recording. so when i mix down my shht they go to cassette.

so im going to dump my da-88s and my cd/cassette deck.

now i need something to record with my computer. i need something simple. can anyone point me in the right direction?

heres a list of things i want to do and dont want to do.

1. i want to being able to mix with my mixer desk

2. i want to be able to mix right back into the computer.

3. i dont want something wicked complicated. i dont have the paitience for shht like that

4. something with outputs. like delta 1010, digi 001, 002 or something like that.

5. i want it to be able to work with my mpc and FL5.

I would run either Cubase of Pro Tools. The best way to go would be to get an M-Audio interface (I have the Delta 66 with the Omni breakout boxwith built in preamp), this way you could run Cubase AND that new Pro Tools M-powered, which is bascially Pro Tools LE for M-Audio interfaces...the best of both worlds. I have both a control interface (for the software faders) and a Yamaha analog board (for my modules....I don't use virtual instruments).

The modules output directly to my mixing board and I control the main volumes there (busses). In software, I level the vocals and control my individual midi volumes. My analog board outputs to both my Hi-Fi VCR and my computer for mixing.
