please help me

people probably asked this but i want to ask it from my point of view...i got no idea how to use mpcs..im only 15...and i want to get a mpc like i said i know nothing so should i get the mpc1000 or mpc 2000 akai?i want something that is impossible to get bored of and can u tell me the diffrence of the both..please can ya recommend me one

before you get your head bittin off . try doing some research as to what a mpc does. www.akaipro.com has well documentation as to the spec and the functions of each machine. noting is impossible to get bored with just it depends how much of your life you are willing to dedicate to the making of music .. i mean it all comes down to what you want to do if you really feel that making music is what you really want to do. you dnt want fame money no bs then read up on production. your not going to get rich off of this. you will get rich by the experiences along the way. the best feeling i have had was when someone flipped out on a beat i made with a boss sp303. but yeah dude if you are serious about this try reading a lot more into the art of music production before asking a questions like that.

when i was coming up in this game cats would be ashamed to even ask some of these questions

I remember me and the cat who mentored me on producing had this borrowed 505 he skooled me on.....we ended up getting into it with the cat who owned it and had to use a free multi-track and a drum machine (dr 202)

even then we would go into GC or ratshack and just bang out beats with whatever was lying around.....

or went to the park and banged on the benches.....

hell we even were making a beat banging on the inside and outside of a car one night......


Its like we were made to do this.......I mean I hear a sound in my head or hear how I want to flip a sample before I do it.......

I listen to records and peep what older cats did by listening......

Thing is to have fun with your music, but the FIRST post you make in YOUR MUSIC section claiming your beats is super dope and according to what your initial post here was, I'm clowning you till the end of the world comes and goes 3000 times.

Buying an MPC for making beats is excellent. But if you want to make beats as a hobby, you should stick to something like fruity loops (which can be downloaded for free).

Yo B.C. why can't I buy an MPC to make beats as a hobby ? My guess is most peeps here who own an mpc make beats as a hobby the vast majority don't make a living of making their beats.

I guess it's ok to spend $1000 (or more depending on what MPC your buying) on a machine that you use for fun. If you want to make beats for fun and you want to buy an MPC, the smartest thing you can do is buy it on Ebay.

There's a BIG difference between being a hobby-ist and an amature producer. I don't make money off my beats now, but I hope to soon/someday. My hobby is drawing. I don't plan on making money off that ever, I just enjoy dong it, ya dig?
