The type analyitisism your guilty of is LOGIC btw. :D

" anything to really back it up". If you want to throw down on some beats, "we can do this".

It's all love though ONE, I was just taken a free jab at ya'll for hatin' on the formula.

Ok....I let off a bit of steam.

I find that the people who start the most static in this forum are the ones who neither own an MPC-60 nor an MPC-3000.

Look in their profiles and they'll have things like MPC-1000, MPC-2000/XL, MPC-4000, etc. listed.

Now I have no problem with you not owning a 60 or a 3000 and coming in this forum to kick it, that's cool. But don't take out your inferiority complex on 60/3000 owners because you don't feel that your MPCs are the real deal because they don't have that Roger Linn signature on the front.

No matter what MPC you have it's cool. Don't feel like you have anything to prove to anyone else. I happen to feel that ALL MPC's are great tools and capable of producing excellent results (though there are differences among the machines). Just use what you have to the fullest and make great music.

There's no room for elitists here. Enjoy the opinions, information and music shared here in this forum. However if you have nothing of any substance to share then kindly keep it moving.

I swear, I wish there was some sort of maturity, mental health, personality test requirements that everyone had to pass before being able to register.

hahaha, what verdict? i hope you don't think YOU hurt my money or props or are better. You diss producers that sound like JDilla, when you sound like (VERY FAR FROM THEM THOU)Tribe, D.I.T.C. and host of others. uh and yes there are samples most producers will not use, for a host of reasons (sample clearance, overused, publishing issues, cost to much) but you would know this if you were making money doing it rather than moving 5000 units (and I bet thats a stretch) because you probably didn't even get that many made...

Yo Drum, I didn't mean you, I never direct stuff at you man, why you always think I'm gonna turn on you? We cool man. BTW, I love this line "take your little smurf lookin' sampler and your weak ass drumkits towards the exit" haha!

Baseline i absolutely right, the other MPC people come in here and start running their yap bout what they think when we could really care less. This forum says "Share your knowledge on these two classic MPCs" and cats with XL's and 1000 come in and start treatin it like off topic and shyt.

point is, if you got no knowledge on the 60 or 3000, shut your yap. Listen if you want, but don't perpetuate the shytty aspects of the forum in here, we used to keep it cool because we talked relevant shyt now people just want to come in and vent.

the 4000 cats don;t seem to get down with this kind of behavior.

There is some jealousy that goes on, it comes from ignorance, a lot of people don;t understand how you could prefer an older product. But they don;t understand, they just get angry and think they do understand to cover up the fact that they are missing something. 6 filters and a million megs of ram and their beats still don;t sound right, so they go to prod, techs and ask about Pro tools or whatever. Then come here and cause trouble.

the verdict on that battle was.. YOU GOT SERVED! your second beat was aiight but Drum took it to that azz, with ease i might add  ... and neither your money or your props(you aint gettin none on here anyways) or how many units you sold or expect others to sell will change that... i (and i bet most of the heads reading this forum) dont give a chit where you work, what equipment you use(unless you wanna have an INTELLIGENT conversation about a piece of gear), how many kids you got, how much money your wife spends, or how many units so and so who you know sold, nor how much loot you have donated to Korg to get your sounds... muhfuccas wanna hear some dope MUSIC, WHEN IT GETS POSTED... and IN THE 60/3K forum WE want to read about and discuss the older ROGER LINN models and other vintage equipment, not argue about stupid OPINIONS(not that any OPINION is stupid, you know what i mean  )... muhfuccaz come in here and start chit a lot it seems lately, and they dont have anything INTELLIGENT to add to this forum, nor do they have any desire to LEARN from any of the INFORMATIVE chit that a lot of the 3K/60 forum regulars be dropping ON A CONSISTANT BASIS...
if you dont like the subject matter and/or your really bothered by others enjoyment of utilizing and discussing older equipment and techniques, then GO CHECK ANOTHER FORUM or DOWNLOAD some SAMPLES or should i say REFILLS? when i first joined this forum and up until recently, there was NOTHING but mad KNOWLEDGE up in this 60/3K forum, now it just seems its a lot more BS to sift thru to get to the real knowledgable posts... i think BassLine is onto something with that inferiority complex chit, straight up  ...

muhfux act like i care about their reasons for CONFORMITY, or the details about they families and/or monthly expenses... dudes want a cookie and chit cuz they got a decent 9 to 5... quit mentioning all this INSIGNIFICANT CHIT in the context of a MUSIC DISCUSSION, seriously!!! dudes think that they 9 to 5 justifies they mediocrity, or that it actually matters to someone on any forum... peops are on this forum to DISCUSS MUSIC AND EQUIPMENT, not listen to your EXCUSES TO WHY YOU CANT PUT ANY TIME INTO YOUR CHIT!!!

my recording arts teacher did mention this once though: "working at a recording studio can make you lose the passion for the ARTISTIC EXPRESSION involved in recording music"...

its completely understandable... but... KEEP YOUR MISERY TO YOURSELF!

thank you

see its funny cause one was just giving some honest critisim, not dissing anyone, but he got ganged up on and cats started throwing names around like children. I dont have a 60 or a 3000, but when someone posts up a beat, cats are allowed to listen and critize it right? Or did i misunderstand something? And you dorks need to chill with that jealousy shit. thats the gayest shit i read here in a minute. No one is jealous of what sampler u rock, or your "skills". I know im not. I dont give a **** if your better then me or whatever. I dont get defensive and all touchy when cats try to play that card. You guys just act like your better then everyone and take this shit to serious, but get all defensive and insecure when someone says something bout it. Just a bunch of toys. Lighten up and dont be all big headed and snap on people, and maybe there wouldnt be these gay beefs. Casue the only time beefing pops off is when drumatic or low pass are posting.

nah i know. I think alot of u cats here are cool. El you straight. Fobed, Bassline. U cats dont have that arrogance that others seem to have. Its like that snobby im better attitude. that shit dont impress me. Like drum when u went into ones thread in your music, u just straight bashed dude like an ****. Also with spectre. You can be nice when u are telling someone there wack. Being a dick, just makes it harder for newbies. There is no need for that shit. Like u could actually be construtive and assist and teach dude whats wrong with his shit, instead of being like YOUR A WACK FU***** BITER!! GIVE IT UP!! thats gaye. Thats just **** shit that doesnt need to be said. I think your beats are good drumatic, but casue of your attitude i wont respect you. Casue u aint that good to be all bigheaded like that. You aint making any real moves or doing anything that gives u the right to be a coc*. Im not a person who judges skills by money either. So do you and continue to have that elitist snob stick up ur ass. PEACE

so basicly you come here to learn from others and talk chit... you have nothing INTELLIGENT to add to the forum, just name calling, racism, and referring to yourself like youz better than others...
