yo dog, first, these types of questions should be in the newbie section. next, no one responded because they are probably thinking why by something when it appears you don't know the first thing about making music.

dog, these questions can't be answered in this type of forum. you just have to take it out and f*uck with it on your own. when you run into technical problems then you can come back to ask questions. but to just outright ask how do you make a beat...... that's crazy.

but one thing that i can say, do a search on this forum for something called bluebox. download that, put your samples (sounds) in a pgm and load up your mpc. next press record/play and just start banging away. if it don't sound like what you want, listen to it and fix it accordingly.

also, let the manual become your best friend. read then try, read then try. if that doesn't work reread then try.

i'm not trying to come down on you but no one here wants to help someone who doesn't want to help themselves first.

you wonder why so many people read your post and no one answered.

I understand everyone has to start somewhere but it SOUNDS like u haven't even experimented yet. You need to get busy action-wise cause I bet alot of these questions can be answered just by u monkeying around, u are just asking to be flamed with these type of questions but I digress..

You had for six months and you just now opened it? At that rate you'll have your first track in another six months. Jus breaking ur balls, you have a long road cat and if you are not going to spend the time, you will not enjoy yourself but instead be really frustrated................
GO play with your MPC for 30 days staight then come back and ask questions.

i dont mean to come down on ya like everyone else so...

my constructive critisism, dont expect to make beats from day one. it took me about 3 months before i pumped out anything decent, mainly cause i focused on learnign to effectively use the mpc, learning techniques and applying them appropritely, also i didn't have any knowledge on conscructing beats. all i had was my ears to train me, some headphones and a pile of dusty vinyl.

some peopel the learning curve is 3 days, for me it was a lot longer than that, caus ei had no backround in making music. so my adive to you, dont jump into anything, just practise and play, learn and get better. once you are skilled in using the mpc, dontexpect to be making bangers.

practise, practise, practise.

quit wasting time on these forums, no-oens guna learnn for you.

Lemme guess, you came home right after seeing Hustle and Flow and unwrapped your christmas present early.

Dude, either it's in you, or it ain't. Plain and simple. If you want to make a beat bad enuff, you'll go about it the way we ALL did.....start banging on them pads and see what happens.

Everybody wanna be a producer nowadays...... ....I REALLY wanted to be a rapper, truth be told, but sadly, my delivery has yet to fully catch up to my lyrics, so I concentrated on the "dirty work"...engineering and producing. I never even thought I would make it THIS far.

I do pretend to sing pretty good though, ironically.

The guys are gonna rip you, but if you REALLY wanna do this, then just do it. Anything is possible if you want it bad enough.

Oh yeah, and hang around the Newbie forum for a bit......it's a lil less crucial in there. 8)

Dstruct, you iz STOOPID!!
