Making filters and effects 'note on' only was Akai's biggest sin, in my opinion. Like, what **** use is that, ken?

"Sometimes you've just got to be creative, and not expect everything handed to you on a plate."

Maybe Akai should take a lesson from Roland and make a bunch of machines with a bunch of presets that you cannot overwrite. Worked for them and seemingly everyone here is yammering for the same thing.

They should improve the accuracy of the TAP TEMPO button (It never gives a consistent tempo).

the tap tempo is accurate. it is measuring the amount of time between taps. unless youre a robot, youre tapping is gonna be a tiny bit off from tap to tap. thats why the value changes as you do it.

sometimes you see a tap tempo, like in digital performer, where they use more generous averaging. it is less accurate, but sometimes more useful. but MORE accurate? technically, no.

tap tempo would be better, if you could choose, whether you want the difference between the last tap or the average of the last 10 or 20 taps...like in fruityloops

Yeah, you're right, and maybe while they're at it they could take the velocity out of the pads but make them light up. :D

^ ^ i would firebomb akai and eat their children, only to pickle their children's children for later consumption.
