sampling help plz

ok i just got my mpc 1000 to day and it is the **** but i need to know is there a easyer way to do sampling in the mpc or should just a software program to do it thanks for the help

an also i wanted to know if anyone else mpc gets pretty hot while using it

Yes they get hot don't worry about it. Sampling in the MPC is easy, you can't expect to be a pro straight away, just keep using it heaps and you'll get the hang of it.
