I wanna hook my MPC2xl to my old turntable......

aight, i got some really old turntable, like technics 1500 or sumthin, LOL ... but i just wanna be able to sample vinyl and use the samples on my mpc, i dont care about scratchin....wut do i need to hook it up to my mpc, and where do i hook it into ? i'm new with both the MPC and Turntables so Please cut me some slack

Assuming that the outs on your turntables are RCA sized, pick up a dual RCA to 1/4 size plugs. Plug the 1/4's into the record in on your MPC.
Shift+4 and now you are in the sampling mode.adjust to your liking and hit record. Once a signal crosses your peak setting recording begins and doesn't stop until yoiu either run out of sampling time or hit stop.
