I hear there's a special trick where two mpc's are used, R Kelly uses this technique, anyone have an idea of what this is?

I intern for Pierre Dee's. He did Olivia (off G-Unit Records) very first song. He is also doing some stuff for her new one coming out. He has also worked with Nas and Profyle. But anyway Teddy Riley taught him how to make beats, but I don't know what Teddy Riley uses. but Pierre has a Trition Studio, Motif, Mo Phatt, MPC4000, and Protools. He has other stuff like a Protues 2000 and a Roland JD some, maybe 550? but I have never seen him use it. I only been interning for him a couple of weeks, but I have learned alot. I am working on my setup, right now I got a MPC1000, labtop(software is a great weapon for attacking hip hip, don't sleep on it), and Mo Phatt. I am looking a for Triton on Ebay as we speak. But anyway, I watch Pierre as he recreated a track from the new New Edition CD, and it sounded just like it. He knows Teddu Riley so good that he can do Teddy Riley sounding tracks when he feels like it, but he does his thing the most. Just my 2 cent. Pierre also told me R. Kelly has 2 mpc's. He said there's a trick to it, but he won't tell me what it is, he said he's gonna show me when he comes a MPC2000XL to work with this MPC4000. Anybody know what he's talkin about?
