How long since the MPC 1k was first released? I'm seeing reviews online that date back to dec 2003. Is this right?

LEgend has it it has always existed, we just never new about it so we where blindly buying high priced alternatives. one day after a freak earthquake during a rescue and recovery mission, one of the missionaries trying to help a survivor, moved a boulder and there they where in a 300X300 hole. MPC 1000s 4 every body!!! YAY!!!
