i know search first... only prob is i only get like 10 mins a day to get in the internet so i dont have time to go back diggin for the thread im lookin for... anyway heres my question...

i member someone sayin there was a way you can take a sample and load it into all 64 pads as different notes like a piano, without manually doin it one by one for each pad... how do you do that?

i think you are refering to autochromatic assingement. please state the mpc you are using... for the XL its in the manual p117

if you dont want to create a new program just for that sound, u can use the 16levels -> Tuning, again, for the XL ist p22

sorry, im using the 2kxl... im not talkin about 16 levels... i think the autochromatic is the function im talkin about... which manual is that? the hardcopy that comes wit the mpc or the one u can dl?

they are the same, yes its autochomatic funtion and its explained in detail in the manual
