If I want a fast hi hat or bongo, on a slow tempo beat, how to I do that on a 1K?

Ha ha, wow, the man has a range of 1 bpm. He's flexible.

On the BPM issue it depends on what kind of beat it is. My range is usually between 85 and 95 BPM. That's more of the tempo range for the East Coast boom bap style.

I'm laughing at the range. It's one thing if he said between 90 and 95. But 88 and 89? That's not really a RANGE at all that's pretty much one preferred tempo.

Your words. When you say BETWEEN that implies range. 1 BPM is not much of a range which is why I found your post amusing. How many times do I have to explain this???

swing the hats or bongos a little bit early and set to 16th or 32nd note repeat..use 16 levels(if the 1k has them) w/ velocity and mkae things happen.

actually twista rips extra slow beats with double time rapping

ie beat at 55 bpm = rap at 110 bpm
