Was starting a new remix project today and now wonder:
How do I use a big accapella track most effective? If I make patterns for verse, bridge and refrain of course the entire accapella won't fit but if I then go into song mode; can I place a long accapella there or do I have to chop it up into smaller parts and place them in the patterns? :?:

yhea if you trigger the capella "one shot trigger" in song mode it will continue over patterns.. but you can always chop the capella up and trigger the pahrases within patters ..alows you to have full audio feedback with the vocal playing while working on the pattern..

Just to chip in,

Yeah, that's how I handle long samples - I too chop them into chunks and sequence them that way. I'm not a great fan of the "one-shot" function on the 4K as there is no way to stop the sample once playback has started!
