I hate "VS." questions... Like Fruity Loops VS. MPC and Dr. Dre VS. Timberland and so on. But this instance I was wondering how Trigger Finger measured up. I figure it's not as good, but I've never used one.
So what do you think, Trigger Finger VS MPC, what is better, and why? :?

 dre vs timbaland   ... what redundant comparisation

anyway.. the triggerfinger is build to control software. an mpc is hardware wich can control software too
i would say: "Go & test one in a musicshop"
I think the triggerfinger would make a nice combo witha laptop

How can you even compare these? One is a midi controller, the other is a sampler/sequencer. They both have pads but that's where the comparison ends. Yes you can use both to control your DAW, but only a fool would buy an MPC exclusively for this purpose.

Or did you mean "Trigger Finger vs. MPD16"?

I just didn't know how the trigger finger worked. I thought that it could do something similar to an MPC, by triggering samples on your computer, instead of loading programs onto it. But I guess I was wrong.
