How do you MUTE all pads in a SEQUENCE except for one, without going to the mixer and turning up/down the volumes?

metafor wrote:Capshuns' right the. The track mute button will work only if you put each sample or drum part on different tracks. Then you willbeable to mute those parts independently on the 1k. Because if you have your whole drum part on 1 track, and you want to track it out into Cubase your going to have to go to the mixer on the 1k, and adjust the volumes as needed to record thiose parts seperately.are you sayin on the mpc 1000k that you can make entire "beats" WITHOUT seperating each part seperately i.e. drumson track 1 and flutes on track #2, ect, ect...

there's 1 program per track, so whatever you put in that program is up to you
could be a whole drum kit, or even a whole bunch of different things 2gether
but like they are sayin, then you gotta mute/unmute all that stuff together at once
