Hey folks - looking for some help:
First here's the setup:
I have a Z4 fully expanded with FX and ADAT in/out. This is running into a Motu 2408 Mk1 via ADAT on a (Me) PC through to Logic. ADAT is synced to Motu's internal clock - everything is clocking / syncing fine.
Here's the issue:
When I trigger a sample in the Z4 it never sounds the same twice, sounds like it's flanging / phasing. Does this via main audio outs and through ADAT. Happens with factory supplied kits and my own. Going nuts trying to figure it out. Other external gear - synths etc sound fine through the Motu, I don't think the problem is here.
Have compared the AKAI kits through the Z4 and with the EXS-24 in Logic and the plug in has no issues - sounds crystal clear. I know the Z4 should sound as good - what's going on!!
Any help / thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
