You can do that if you don't have 3.10 upgrade . That is weird , like a downgrade but the gain otherwise don't make me think about it too much .

you cant send audio though midi...if thats your question. Theres no prob using the s1000 samples and sequencing them with midi into your 60....but i suggest using a different sampler the s1000 is pretty much a piece of crap. The s2800 or s3000 has the same a/d converts as the mpc3000, and they sound 100x better then those in the s1000 or s2000

you can send samples through midi, it's called midi sample dump.

It's not fun though ;)
