I'm new to using a MPC. If I record on tracks on the MPC with a midi keyboard will the sound from the keyboard playback through the MPC.

The MPC4ooo will allow you to record the MIDI data sent from your keyboard.

This data can then be sent back to the keyboard when the sequence is played back. It is the keyboard that will generate the sound source, not the MPC4ooo.

The MPC4ooo also acts as a sampler and you can record audio into it. This audio can then be stored as a WAV file on the 4ooo's internal Hard Disc and played back alongside any MIDI data.

If you are monitoring through a set of speakers then you will require a small mixing desk to monitor both the MPC4ooo's ouput and the ouput from your keyboard(s).

I HAVE SOME POWERED MONITORS HOOKED UP TO THE 4000...

IS THERE ANY WAY TO HERE THE KEYBOARD SOUNDS AS WELL AS THE 4000 SAMPLES..... CAN I HOOK ANY AUDIO BETWEEN THE TWO...

OR IS THE MIXER THE ONLY WAY?
THANKS.
