"DIRECTORY error!!"

When I try to save my newest Program, a Program with 28 sounds, my MPC1000 tells me "DIRECTORY error!!" Nothing else, just "DIRECTORY error!!".. I have tried to save without replacing samples, and i have tried to replace them to.. It happens anyway.. Someone who can tell me what's wrong?

sounds like you might be trying to save to the wrong place. do you have seperate folders for different programs? what does it say beside "Save to:" and what does it say beside "To:"

i found the problem i tried to save some drums called kick01 kick02 snare01 snare02 etc. and i already had files with that name in the card..
is it possible to save things in folders without using computers? that would be great..!

yes. page 75-84 in the manual but if i were you i would start at page 1 or the table of contents or the index.
