well to day my dad hooked me up with a mixer just a 8 channel he had laying around but what i was woundering is that i don't got a trun table yet but if i should just hook it up to the mpc still to use the on board eq and stuff here is a pic of it http://media.zzounds.com/media/brand,zz ... 9c4915.jpg

If you are planning on using a turntable with this, you need a turntable with a pre-amp, or you need a pre-amp, Amp, or DJ mixer. This does not have a phono in.

Maybe no point, It depends how u work... do u have any other gear?

If you're going to play a gig though Id say its useful for sure,
you can put the multi-outputs into it and then use the faders to smoothly fade levels and stuff, and yeah the eq. Lot easier to work live then that little mixer window in the MPC. And on the mixer you can adjust levels/eq in the middle of a sample, on the MPC it only changes when the sample restarts, really annoying.

ps im playing a show tomorrow using a mixer that way .

Sorry to say it, but UB802 is one big piece of shitty mixer! I have had it myself, and I didn't like it at all. Shitty mic preamps and shitty sound quality overall. You would rather get something else, for example a Tapco mixer.
