quickest way to see if my note variation slider works...

hey guys...

i've had my mpc2000/mpc2000xl for a while now, but never used the variation slider before.

i bought a used mpc2000xl, and noticed that the slider is bent just a little.

what's the quickest way i can test out the slider to see if it's working?

just use it...

assign a sample to the slider and try it..

shift + 5(trim screen)> shift + F1> F5(MEMCHECK)> F5(PADCHECK)

you hit SHIFT + the button above the slider. it will go the the screen where you assign a sample to the slider. hit the pad you want to assign and select which effect you want the slider to control..
