Got some sh*t by the Doors, The Beetles, Tommy Roe, James Brown, Parliament, and the list goes on. I dig deeper than archeologist.

Blue note makes some cool compilation records, which are nice since: Originals of them cost upwards of 100 dollars, which is cool for a collector, but for a samplehead is kinda whack.

and the music on them rocks.

The latin one is sweet as is Blue Juice.

i am looking for mid 70s fusion these days. a lot of great records for a buck cuz nobody else likes them.

I spend alot of time in my father's old vinyl-collection.. haven't made up my favourites yet, but alot of norwegian folk-songs has alot of good sounding guitar, and early randy crawford is really nice..

jazz, soul and funk... most soul maybe...

I have a pretty decent collection of breakbeat originals, some I got for cheap, some I paid more for. My stash is somewhere over 1000 but hard to count. (that's including all styles from hiphop, rock, jazz, funk, soul, weird sh!t, etc.)

I've pretty much stopped hunting for the rare funk breaks and soul jazz, etc. because at every dig spot there's 500 other vultures looking for the same damn thing.

I have enough drum breaks and stuff to work with for now, so I'm strictly in the 99 cent bin looking for absolute crapp (but that might have some sample worthy sounds on em)

Plus, I'd rather flip a crapp record into somthing funky rather than find a record that's already funky and just loop it.

i tend to sample bull shizza that u think could never get flipped. i own zero records but have stashes through the grape vines. i like 1970 to like 86 , all kinds of crazy stuff.
